Roads

At Compac Hire we have amassed valuable experience in road construction from completing complex s.278 works (alterations to existing highways) to establishing completely new roads as part of new developments ready to gain s.38 agreements (adoption of new highways by the authorities). The scope of this service can range from small remedial works to providing full road packages on housing developments up to 600 plots. Our impressive fleet of large excavators (up to 38 ton) help us increase efficiencies and pass both time and financial savings to our clients.

Bulk Earthworks

Compac Hire Ltd provides clients with a comprehensive suite of civil engineering services including bulk excavations. This service not only comprises movements onsite but can also cover export of materials offsite. In recent years we have also expanded our services to include soil stabilisation and modification.

Foul & Storm

Compac Hire is a specialist when it comes to installing storm and foul water drainage systems in a wide range of formats and development types. Our drainage projects can range dramatically from installing drainage connections for isolated structures to large scale housing, commercial or retail schemes. Our in-house workforce, plant and expertise allows us to deliver a comprehensive service and produce all relevant testing and as-built surveys.

Plot Works

Our ability to provide not only highway construction and drainage installation but also plot works allows us to provide a comprehensive and complete package to our clients. This is especially beneficial on more congested sites or when you wish to employ a single principle contractor who can manage all of these works.

Kerb Bracing

Our experienced and dedicated kerbing team are capable of providing kerbing on jobs of any size or scale. All our kerbing machines are constantly updated, well maintained and feature a wide range of moulds to suit any required profile. When paired with one of our wheeled excavators, the kerbing teams are able to not only provide a high level of finish but also work quickly and efficiently.

Vacuum Excavation

Our mini AIR-VAC vacuum excavator and trained operators provide a powerful, compact and safe means of uncovering services and excavating ground in tight areas. Unlike traditional large lorry mounted vacuum excavators, our mini AIR-VAC machine is able to easily maneuver around congested sites without blocking traffic or interrupting other works. This is thanks to the machines rough terrain tracks and condense size. AIR-VAC uses high pressured air to break up the ground in turn eliminating the risk of HAVS and allow means of non-conductive excavation.
